Wikis are good for sharing knowledge that anybody can access or contribute to. Blogging is a great way of reporting from a project or a department. An Activity Stream is the fastest way of getting help or discussing a subject, and Apps are good for solving specific routine-based tasks, among other things.

Sometimes people ask us why Incentive is not a Software-as-a-Service product in the cloud.

The simple answer to that is that we want you to own your own data. We have no business with your data.

If we some time in the future decide that we want to do something else with our lives, you shouldn’t suffer. What you’ve bought is yours, and no matter what we will do in the future – even though we will do this for many years – we want you to be sure that you own your stuff completely independent of us.
