Government 2.0 - women entrepreneurs connect through Incentive

We are very exited to announce that we just released a new site. We are exited because it's a collaborative platform for Swedish entrepreneurs who want to share their tips, daily work or just connect to each other.

To be more accurate - there are 880 driven entrepreneurs and all are women. We call it Ambassaden (the Embassy in plain English).

The project is financed by the Swedish government and is a part of The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. If you're further interested read an English summary of the project on the site.

We love this initiative for many reasons, one is that it is to our knowledge the first time that the Swedish government does not "own" and does not have control of the content of "their" website. The participants are the creators, and they create a lot.

4000 wiki articles, 2900 blog postings and around 7000 comments when we last checked and it's constantly growing.

Being an entrepreneurial company ourselves, we also love that our government are taking initiatives to support these brave and dedicated people.

The ambassadors can post their microblog updates from Incentive directly to their Twitter account with the hashtag #ambassadenvisitors of the site can book an ambassador for an inspirational keynote and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Contact us if you have other questions.

Cheers

Gustav
